We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-quality software, a strong focus on test automation and manual testing, and proven experience ensuring reliable and scalable test solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications

• Perform manual tests for web applications and/or mobile applications

• Create reliable, maintainable, and well-documented automated tests

• Collaborate closely within cross-functional teams, incl. developers, architects and product managers to ensure high product quality

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent test execution

• Mentor and support team members on test automation best practices

Qualifications:

• Certified ISTQB Foundation Level and/or Agile Tester Extension Level.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer and Agile Testing, actively contributing to cross-functional teams.

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills

• Comprehensive software testing experience, with a deep knowledge of various test levels including functional, integration, and system testing.

• Proficient in applying test design techniques such as boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, and exploratory testing.

• Well-versed in Agile Software Development methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban), with a solid understanding of the role of QA in delivering high-quality software in iterative environments.

• Nice to have: Experience in scaled agile and large development organizations and frameworks (e.g. SAFe)

• Experienced in backend testing, especially with REST web services, including API validation and integration scenarios.

• Practical knowledge of database systems and strong command of SQL for data setup and backend validation.

• Hands-on expertise with test automation frameworks using Selenium, Java, and JUnit (or comparable toolsets), enabling efficient regression and functional test coverage.

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in international teams.

• Proactive work ethic, taking initiative in test planning, execution, and continuous improvement activities.

• Nice to have: Practical experience in testing mobile applications (iOS/Android).
