Senior SAP BW Developer

Looking for SAP-Business Intelligence professionals design, implement and deploy SAP business intelligence solutions (applications and technologies which are used to gather, provide access to, and analyse data and information about enterprise operations) for end-to-end data warehousing and analytics including SAP BW/4HANA, BW on HANA, HANA Modeling, SAC.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business, functional, and IT teams in Supply Chain area (such as Demand planning team, analytics and insights team etc) around the globe (different geographical location)

• Participate and contribute in workshops, meeting as well as SAFe ceremonies (PI Planning)

• Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, testing, and deployment of BW solutions.

• Contribute (Develop) the solution build for Analytics & Reporting in Supply Chain area- Optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes: Develop efficient and reliable procedures for data extraction, transformation, and loading into the data warehouse.

• Utilize advanced ABAP techniques to automate complex data transformations and manipulations within the BW environment.

• Integrate with SAP HANA: Leverage the power of SAP HANA to optimize data processing and performance within the data warehouse.

• Maintain and troubleshoot BW systems: Perform proactive maintenance and troubleshoot any issues within the BW environment to ensure its stability and optimal performance.

• Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously research and implement the latest advancements in SAP BW technology and best practices.

• Design and implement robust and scalable data models to accommodate large and diverse data sets.

• Ensure smooth handover of the solution to the support and operations teams

• Timely reporting of progress on activities and work packages according to the program plan and milestones

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in SAP BW on HANA/BW/4HANA

• Must have experience with native HANA data modelling

• Experience with SAP ABAP

• Must have Project experience in Advanced modeling concepts including Analytic Views, Attribute Views, Hierarchies, Creating Restricted & Calculated Columns, Filter Operations, Variables, Creating Calculation Views, SAP HANA SQL, SQL Script and Procedures.

• Good knowledge on Calculation views, AMDP is required

• Good knowledge of A&R in Supply Chain would be big plus

• Excellent analytical and communication skills allowing to engage with business partners and understand their needs

• Fluent in English orally and in writing
