Senior Java / Oracle DBA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced specialist (8–20 years of experience) with expertise in both Java development and Oracle database administration. The ideal candidate would be a Senior Java Developer who transitioned into Oracle DBA role – or the other way around.

• Start date: ASAP

• Duration: 1.5 years (with possible extension)

• Location: Fully remote

• Equipment: Own hardware required

Responsibilities

• Work on the application layer of database connections within Java frameworks

• Utilize deep knowledge of Oracle administration and how Java applications interact with databases

• Support development and maintenance of applications ensuring performance and reliability

  
  

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Oracle databases

• Solid experience with Java

• 8–20 years of overall professional experience

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

  
  

Nice to have

• Experience with JBoss

• Knowledge of EclipseLink
