Technical Product Owner

Project description:

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner who will help to deal with platform software development challenges. Our customer is a German producer of customized solutions for the self-supply of solar-powered electricity. These include photovoltaic, energy storage systems as well as cloud technology systems helping individuals to become energetically independent. Investigate, identify and analyze requirements and define areas for development of software platform. 

Project description:

• Knowledge of IAM protocols with Keycloak experience preferred

• Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP), device security, and device management• Understanding of API design and system integration• Basic scripting or development skills Product Management Experience

• Strong experience managing product lifecycle in Agile/Scrum environments

• Proven ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints• Confident in backlog management, sprint planning, and roadmap development

Main responsibilities:

Product Vision & Strategy 

• Define and champion the long-term product vision, aligned with user needs and business goals

• Develop strategic roadmaps and translate them into actionable milestones and features

• Prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and feedback Product Backlog Ownership

• Maintain a well-groomed, prioritized product backlog• Break down epics into user stories and ensure clarity for development teams

• Lead estimation, planning, and sprint preparation efforts Stakeholder Collaboration

• Gather requirements through structured engagement with engineering, design, customers, and commercial teams

• Align stakeholders around product vision and roadmap, managing expectations and communicating progress

• Act as the voice of the user and the translator of technical nuance Technical Leadership

• Work closely with developers to ensure feasibility, scalability, and security

• Guide architectural discussions with an understanding of trade-offs

• Provide direction on IAM and IoT integration best practices

• Monitor product performance and track key success metric

• Use user feedback and behavioral data to inform iterative improvements

• Drive post-launch support, enhancements, and lifecycle management
