Project description:

Be part of a high-impact team building a mobile SDK that powers seamless experiences for millions of users across thousands of merchant platforms. You’ll leverage the latest Android features—such as biometrics, Keystore, and secure system APIs—to optimize authentication flows and replace inefficient JS components with native solutions. Collaborate across disciplines to ensure security, performance, and quality across the stack.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Android development with strong Kotlin skills
• Solid knowledge of the Android ecosystem and framework architecture
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable code and maintain thorough documentation
• Familiarity with Android release/signing processes, CI/CD pipelines
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
• Team player who enjoys solving complex technical challenges
• Bonus: exposure to iOS, Swift, or React Native is a plus

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a performant native Android SDK used within a React Native application
• Optimize app performance by replacing JavaScript-based views with native implementations
• Integrate third-party SDKs for ID scanning, NFC passport reading, etc.
• Manage camera and permissions handling to ensure compliance and usability
• Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers
• Optionally contribute to shared React Native layers
• Promote clean code practices, automated testing, and continuous improvement
