Spyrosoft is seeking a talented and motivated SAP Basis Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are hiring for multiple levels, ranging from Junior to Senior to Lead SAP Basis Engineers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of SAP systems, supporting and improving complex SAP landscapes while collaborating with international teams and customers.
- SAP Basis Engineer (Junior Level):
- Provide day-to-day support for SAP systems, including performance analysis, tuning, and proactive system monitoring.
- Perform system maintenance tasks such as client and system copies, patch installations, and backups.
- Conduct troubleshooting to prevent outages and resolve system issues.
- Document support activities and prepare Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
- Senior SAP Basis Engineer (Senior Level):
- Lead complex troubleshooting efforts for SAP systems and ensure resolution of critical issues.
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within SAP environments, optimizing performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other technical and functional teams to resolve issues and enhance system stability.
- Lead SAP Basis Engineer (Lead Level):
- Oversee service delivery for multiple international customers, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of SAP systems.
- Manage communication with customers, understanding their requirements and ensuring service satisfaction.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts across teams (OS, DB, Network, Backup, SAP Functional) for complex SAP issues.
- Align SAP systems with business objectives, ensuring they meet strategic goals and service standards.
- Manage compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure 24/7 operational availability for SAP systems.
- Lead and motivate teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency.
- All Levels:
- Strong experience with Suse Linux and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
- Knowledge of databases such as HANA, Sybase, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, SAP DB.
- Familiarity with SAP landscapes and cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP) in relation to SAP systems.
- Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and troubleshooting.
- Senior & Lead Levels (In addition to the above):
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting complex SAP issues and improving system performance.
- Strong mentoring, leadership, and team management skills.
- Proven ability to handle customer relationships and manage service delivery.
- Knowledge of business alignment, SLA management, and operational excellence in a customer-facing environment.
