QA Automation Engineer (Appium + AWS)

Join a large-scale e-mobility ecosystem focused on supporting Charge Point Operators (CPO) and e-Mobility Service Providers (eMSP). The platform consists of mobile and web applications, payment solutions, operational systems, and monitoring tools used by both business customers and end users.

The team develops modern software solutions with a strong focus on quality assurance, reliability, and test automation. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in expanding mobile automation capabilities, enhancing testing frameworks, and ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate closely with backend, frontend, product, and QA specialists within a cross-functional organization of more than 20 professionals working across multiple product areas and business processes.

The role is performed within standard Polish business hours.

Main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for mobile applications using Appium.

• Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and continuous quality processes.

• Develop and execute API automation tests to support backend quality assurance.

• Analyze application logs and troubleshoot issues using AWS services and monitoring tools such as Datadog.

• Collaborate with development and product teams to define and implement testing strategies.

• Support mobile application release processes through TestFlight and Firebase App Distribution.

• Identify opportunities for increased automation and continuously improve testing efficiency and quality standards.

• Contribute to maintaining high reliability and performance across the entire platform ecosystem.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.

• 3+ years of experience in mobile test automation using Appium.

• Strong hands-on experience with test automation for React Native applications on both iOS and Android platforms.

• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language used for automation (Java, TypeScript, or Python).

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Practical knowledge of AWS services used for application hosting, monitoring, and testing environments.

• Strong experience with API testing and automation.

• Experience working with mobile application distribution platforms such as TestFlight and Firebase App Distribution.

• Knowledge of application diagnostics and debugging tools such as Charles Proxy and Browser DevTools.

• Experience with test management tools (Jira, Xray, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar).

• Experience using log analysis and monitoring tools such as Datadog.

• Practical use of AI tools in QA activities, including test case generation, requirements analysis, edge case identification, and defect investigation.

• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

• Polish proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow

• Experience testing payment systems, including transaction flows, refunds, and operations history.

• Experience within the e-mobility, EV, or charging infrastructure domain.

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.

• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and advanced cloud-based test environments.
