QA Android Automation Engineer (Szczecin)

Hybrid work (Szczecin) due to work with hardware.

Requirements:

• expierience in embedded

• testing knowledge and experience in test automation

• electronic and hardware basic knowledge

• strong understanding of Android Wi-Fi stack (ConnectionManager, NetworkStack, wpa_supplicant)

• familiarity with Android’s handling of DHCP, IP assignment, and WPA3/EAP security

• English (at least B1)

Nice to have:

• experience using ADB for network testing: connect/disconnect, scanning, log retrieval

• knowledge of Python (asyncio, subprocess, SSH, JSON, logging, regex)

• linux system administration: systemctl, journalctl, ip, iw, ss, rou

Project description:

We are extending the team to work in the area of the autonomous car. The aim of the project is to test software developed for the leading manufacturer of passenger cars. Testing activities will be performed for the needs of several domains and will be both manual and automatic tests.

Tasks:

• Conduct Android Wi-Fi testing: connection flows, EAP/WPA3 validation, log analysis

• Integrate results with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins)

• Collaborate with Android developers, embedded engineers, and verification teams

• Document test cases and results in Confluence and Jira
