Job description
The person in this position will be responsible for the Linux infrastructure, web and mail server administration. In addition, he/she will support DevOps engineers in their tasks.

- Providing maintenance on Linux servers, especially on RedHat and Debian family,
- Developing and maintaining web (Apache, Nginx), and mail servers (Postfix, Dovecot, Rspamd),
- Working with Load Balancers/Proxies (HAProxy, Nginx, Squid),
- Managing, maintaining databases like Mysql and Postgres,
- Performing maintenance work on weekends, for example on DBNetz projects,
- Managing virtualization like Proxmox VE, knowledge of other virtualization platform is required
- Supporting colleagues on daily basis tasks
Requirements:
- Experience in the administration of Linux servers, preferably RedHat and Debian derivatives
- Experience with web servers (Apache, Nginx), mail servers (Postfix, Dovecot, Rspamd), Load balancers/Proxies (HAProxy, Nginx, Squid) and databases (Mysql, Postgres)
- Configuration management with Ansible is desirable, as well as virtualization with Proxmox VE
- Willingness to perform maintenance work on weekends, since certain things go only on the weekends
- Knowledge of German language will be an asset
