Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience building RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including services like Lambda and ECS, and a working knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Passion for AI technologies, with exposure to large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), or prompt engineering considered a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows, version control systems like Git, and containerization with Docker for seamless development and deployment processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain Python-based microservices supporting Klarna’s AI-driven internal tools, including Rejection Bot, Appeal Bot, Timeline Bot, and future LLM-powered platforms.
- Integrate seamlessly with internal APIs (e.g., PTX, Decision Store, OSIS) and third-party systems such as Kiki, FullStory, and Slack.
- Monitor system performance and user experience using observability tools like Datadog and Langsmith, focusing on key metrics such as latency, error rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams- including Product, Data Science, Legal, and Customer Service- to deliver scalable, compliant, and user-centric AI solutions.
- Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based workflows, automated testing, and adherence to microservice design principles in a high-velocity development environment.
