About the Role:We are looking for a Junior Line Manager to support our engineers in their professional growth and to ensure effective resource management across technology projects. In this role, you will work at the intersection of technical teams, Project Managers, Consultants, Recruitment, and the Learning & Development department, focusing on employee development, resource planning, and recruitment support.
Your Responsibilities:
Team and Career Management:
Support engineers in planning their development paths, including reskilling or technology transitions.
Collaborate with the Learning & Development team (trainings, webinars, workshops).
Manage the training budget and make decisions regarding its allocation.
Implement performance management processes, including: - Participating in 360-degree evaluation processes. - Collecting and analyzing performance reviews. - Supporting salary review planning.
Resource Allocation and Management:
Attend “bench” meetings and report on resource availability.
Cooperate with Consultants, Delivery Managers, and Project Managers in assembling project teams, selecting specialists with the required technical, domain-specific, and soft skills.
Monitor ongoing projects, their potential extensions, and upcoming changes.
Support team-building efforts and coordinate with various departments (Recruitment, VM, other LMs) using internal tools and procedures.
Collaborate with PMs on planning rotations and replacements, balancing engineer interests, business goals, and project profitability.
Make decisions regarding the future allocation of engineers: new project assignment, reservation, or availability for other teams.
Recruitment and Onboarding
Initiate recruitment processes and take full ownership of hiring decisions.
Participate in final-stage interviews ("managerial interviews").
Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure high-quality candidate selection.
Present final offers to selected candidates.
Operational Management
Use and maintain internal allocation systems, ensuring smooth communication among stakeholders.
Approve vacation requests.
Conduct regular 1:1 meetings.
Lead offboarding processes, including handling contract terminations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Has initial experience working with technical teams (e.g., as an engineer, resource coordinator, or tech lead).
Understands the specifics of working in an IT/engineering environment.
Demonstrates strong listening skills and collaborates well with multiple stakeholders.
Is confident in decision-making - even in challenging situations.
Is well-organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Communicates clearly and professionally with both internal teams and clients.
Fluent in Polish, both spoken and written
English proficiency at minimum B2 level
Ability to work from the office (located at Zabłocie 43A) at least 3 times per week.
