Head of Engineering

Must-Have Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams in a global, multicultural environment.

• Strong track record of delivering internal corporate systems (ERP, CRM, data platforms) aligned with business goals.

• Solid architectural understanding of enterprise platforms and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure preferred).

• Experience with ERP/CRM system design and customization across regions.

• Familiarity with data engineering, reporting, and AI/ML capabilities as part of enterprise solutions.

• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

• Product-oriented mindset with a focus on value delivery, not just technology execution.

• Strong understanding of agile delivery, DevOps practices, and modern SDLC.

• English proficiency at C1 level or higher (spoken and written).

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

• Experience working on or managing internal agentic AI and GenAI initiatives.

• Background in software localization and tailoring systems for specific market needs.

• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or Synapse.

• Experience in making build-vs-buy decisions and managing third-party vendors or platforms.

Over eight decades, it has diversified into seven major sectors, including automotive, energy, and financial services - operating in over 30 countries.

Together, we are seeking an experienced and product-minded Head of Engineering to lead the development and delivery of the company’s internal technology systems. This includes ERP and CRM platforms adapted to local markets, enterprise reporting tools, data platforms, and internal AI applications - all built primarily on Microsoft Azure.

This is a leadership role, not just a technical one. The ideal candidate is someone who can balance business needs with engineering execution, ensuring that internal systems support strategic objectives, are delivered on time, and meet high standards of usability and scalability.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to align the technology roadmap with organizational goals, while also mentoring and guiding engineering teams across global locations.

Main responsibilities:

• Own engineering delivery for all internal corporate systems, including: 

• ERP and CRM systems (customized per region),

• Reporting and business intelligence solutions,

• Data engineering and data science platforms, 

• Agentic and generative AI-powered applications, 

• Custom-built enterprise software on Microsoft Azure. 

• Lead and scale a globally distributed team of engineers and technical leads.

• Collaborate closely with business, product, and operations leaders to define priorities and roadmaps.

• Translate business needs into technical direction, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes.

• Ensure high-quality, secure, and maintainable solutions through strong engineering and delivery practices.

• Champion a product-oriented culture—focused on business value, user experience, and continuous improvement.

• Oversee vendor partnerships, integrations, and platform decisions.

• Be accountable for timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones for internal systems initiatives.
