Job description
Responsibilities:
- Prototype features and provide transparent accounts of their performance
- Define project guidelines for technical art processes
- Prepare coherent documentation for pipelines, tools and procedures
- Create and manage asset banks
- Define optimization processes as required
- Provide technical support for VFX, lighting and post effects
- Contribute to the team-oriented environment
- Share knowledge and develop other members of the team
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in modeling, sculpting and texturing art content using 3ds Max, Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop and Substance Designer (or equivalent packages)
- Have knowledge of console hardware architecture and its impact on technical budget and optimization of art assets
- Scripting knowledge (C#, Python) is an asset
- Ability to act as artist, programmer, diplomat, teacher, communicator, leader, supporter, memory-budget, creator, innovator
- Knowledge of shader authoring or procedural and destruction workflows a bonus
- Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback
- Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
- English level above upper-intermediate
- Strong passion for making AAA games
