Shopify Developer

You’ll be responsible for leading complex Shopify projects from scoping to launch, settingtechnical standards, and mentoring other developers. You’ll work closely with designers, PM,and the founders to deliver scalable, performant Shopify apps and storefronts that drivemeasurable results.This is a hands-on role for a developer who wants ownership and impact. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead full-stack development on Shopify and Shopify Plus projects

• Build high-quality, performant, and maintainable Shopify apps and widgets using React,Typescript, Liquid, HTML, and CSS

• Collaborate with designers and PM to scope, estimate, and plan work

• Review code and support technical decisions across the team

• Troubleshoot issues, optimise performance, and ensure best practice implementation\

• Support integrations and implementations of Shopify APIs, Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, custom apps, and third-party APIs

• Contribute to internal tools, documentation, and reusable components

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of Shopify development experience (agency or brand side)

• Expert in React, TypeScript, Liquid, JSON, HTML, CSS

• Strong grasp of Shopify apps, Shopify Functions, Checkout UI Extensions, Shopifytheme architecture, and API integrations

• Proficient with Git and modern development workflows

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

• Advantage: experience with Hydrogen, or headless architecture

• Advantage: experience with development and maintenance of a large-scale public Shopify apps, and Shopify apps CI/CD
