Python Dev / AI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Python Dev with some experience with AI development, to become an integral part of our compact yet dynamic AI team. We are a young organization so you'll have a unique chance to play a pivotal role in scaling our operations from the ground up.

You will be responsible for end-to-end solutions delivery. This includes the initial discovery phase, crafting proposals, designing the architecture, and ultimately, launching fully developed products into production. Our mission is to empower our clients to solve challenges by harnessing the power of AI and automation.

Must-have skills

• Expert Python development including:

• Mastery of programming best practices (design patterns, clean code principles)

• Production-grade code quality (type hinting, PEP compliance, unit and integration testing)

• Large-scale system architecture (high throughput, distributed processing, message-based systems: RabbitMQ/Kafka/Redis) (Nice to have)

• Performance optimization techniques (asynchronous programming)

• Deep understanding of software architecture principles (SOLID, layered architecture design)

• Experience with AI/ML product development

• Deep understanding of Docker and container orchestration in production environments

• Strong problem-solving skills with a startup mindset

• Very strong communication skills in Polish and English

• Understanding of issues and opportunities of applying Generative AI in a business context

• Experience developing and deploying production software

• A history of solving hard problems with creative solutions

• Proven track record of independently delivering high-quality solutions

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to teammates and non-technical colleagues and clients

• Proficiency in utilizing AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Perplexity, GitHub Copilot) for efficient coding

Job Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (required)

• 2+ years of proven experience in Python development

• Track record of building and deploying production AI/ML solutions

• Production experience with modern web frameworks (FastAPI)

• Expertise in both SQL and NoSQL database systems

• Experience with vector databases for AI applications

• Proven experience implementing LLMs based applications (prompt engineering, RAG)

• Cloud platform experience required (Azure preferred)

• Demonstrated ability to build resilient cloud-native applications

• History of leading technical projects in Agile environments

• Strong written and verbal communication in English

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with message queues and event-driven architectures

• Experience with comprehensive observability stacks (metrics, logging, tracing, Grafana)
