At Software Mansion, we are focused on building an organization that provides the right working environment for all team members. That means, among other things, creating space for development in directions tailored to each person’s needs.
We are aware that the role of the Project Manager varies depending on the company, so we want to emphasize three main areas that are the most important to us.
We expect that our Project Managers will want to grow in at least two of the following:
- Business – that means understanding how software houses, startups, and other companies operate in general and recognizing their goals. Such knowledge will allow you to grasp how Software Mansion functions and thereafter manage projects successfully, see nuances and make better decisions. It’s important to us that our Project Managers look after our interests as much as they take care of the client’s business needs.
- Projects – guarding its successful completion through Scrum/Agile methodology, ensuring transparent communication between the team and clients, and monitoring the deadlines and budget.
- Team – taking care of the team's wellbeing and the overall comfort of work. Our main goal is to identify and respond to the needs of individual people. We strive to make our team members’ lives and work not only satisfactory but also enjoyable.
Who are we looking for?
We want to underline the importance of cultural fit and entrepreneurship in our company. We are looking for a personality match for our team, rather than just a fixed set of hard skills.
Additionally, an excellent command of English will be necessary (C1 is a minimum), as we mostly work with clients from the USA. We also require at least two years of experience in an IT company and in a position where you’ve gained skills that will be useful when working as a Project Manager at Software Mansion (e.g., working with a team and clients, working in a managerial position).
