We are a Kraków-based software agency that has been on the market for over 10 years now. Thanks to our steady growth, we are currently hiring around 300 team members. The main part of our company are software engineers, but apart from that, we already have a few designers on board. Due to a growing number of external projects and internal design needs, we are planning to expand our design team with a Product (UI) Designer. A person working in this position would be mainly responsible for creating UI designs but will also focus on analyzing product needs in order to make layouts intuitive, practical, and user friendly.
You will join our design team to work closely on both:
- clients projects – you may expect cooperation with clients from various fields. Creating visual style and developing UI design (the finished UI views and components for online and mobile applications) will be your primary responsibilities.
- our internal projects, such as our website, App.js website (the conference organized by our company), our open-source products (e.g. React Native libraries), and others. Working on a project of this nature may entail taking care of the visual identity in addition to producing UI views.
The perfect candidate has:
- very good communication skills in Polish and English (C1) – you will be in close cooperation with the clients (in English) and the team (in Polish),
- some commercial experience as a UI Designer,
- great knowledge of Figma,
- strong visual and interface skills – it means the ability to create well-crafted interfaces and knowledge of how to prepare them for the development,
- prototyping skills – ability to create clickable prototypes, use correct micro-interactions and animations to simulate natural screens behavior,
- knowledge of best techniques and principles in graphic design,
- ability to understand product needs and convey it to a thoughtful, detailed design,
- ability to work independently – of course our designers supports each other, but we need to know that you can manage the project by yourself when needed,
- knowledge of managing style guides and design systems – you should understand how they are created and how to manage them.
- We work in a hybrid model, so we expect you to be able to work in our office at Zabłocie 43B in Cracow around 2-3 days a week. However, we are trying to be flexible about it, so if you need to work remotely for some time, it should not be a problem at all.
- Generally, we work flexible hours (we don’t have any core hours), but you would have to adjust your schedule for some meetings.
- We are currently looking for someone available to work full time.
- We are flexible when it comes to the type of agreement.
