YOU ARE
An experienced Software Engineer possessing the following experience
- Profound programming skills in Python
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript
- Deep knowledge of software development best practices, including writing software that is extensible and reliable
- Modern front-end development frameworks (React/Angular/Vue, etc.)
- Data visualization frameworks such as 3D.js, Chart.js, Google Charts, etc.
- The basics of API principles and web-based protocols and technologies, such as REST, gRPC, HTTP, Ajax, etc.
Nice-to-have experience includes
- Deploying applications using Docker and AWS, GCP, or similar
YOU WANT TO WORK WITH
- A global group of engineers to design and develop web-based data-visualization tools in support of Perception software team
- Internal customers in deep technical detail to understand their requirements and drive the development process all the way through delivery
- Developing data visualization tools that are clear and easy to understand, and allow engineering teams to generate key insights from large datasets of structured and unstructured data
- Maintaining a high level of data integrity, quality, and security checks
