Big Data Engineer

We are a big distributed team working with a fantastic customer, a giant in mining industry, located in Canada. Mining is an amazingly interesting, broad, and challenging domain. Having dived into it about 1.5 years ago, we are now developing several web, mobile applications, and dashboards for different cathegories of users simultaneously. The destination of all of our products is: simplification, time and resource saving. And we rock!

Our customer is a diversified resource company committed to responsible mining and mineral development with business units focused on steelmaking coal, copper, zinc and energy. SoftServe forms a big part in a big initiative of our customer – innovation driven efficiency program. It's about taking a companywide approach to renewing our technology infrastructure, looking at opportunities for automation and robotics, connecting our data systems to enable broad application of advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, and empowering the employees, with a focus on making real progress between now and 2021.
