What you will be doing:

• Building professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Monitoring project progress using tools (Jira, Everhour).
• Reporting project status, risks, and outcomes internally and externally.
• Managing and documenting project workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Developing and adapting high-level scope descriptions based on project needs.
• Managing budgets and forecasting resource allocation to meet project goals.
• Organizing and leading project meetings to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Handling scope adjustments, workflow modifications, and other change processes effectively.
• Assessing and mitigating risk to ensure smooth project execution.
• Guiding architectural decisions, code reviews, and maintaining technical standards.
• Identifying inefficiencies in workflows and implementing automation to enhance productivity.
• Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Motivating, mentoring, and supporting team members to maintain high morale and productivity.
• Staying abreast of new technologies and promoting continuous learning within the team.

What we need from you:

• At least 5+ years in software development, including 3+ years in leadership roles (e.g., Engineering Manager, Tech Lead, Team Leader).
• Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams, mentoring developers, and managing team dynamics.
• English proficiency at B2+ (we use it in our daily work).

Specific requirements for the ideal candidate:

• Proficiency in Python or another leading programming language (e.g. PHP, Javascript/Typescript, Ruby, C#)
• Solid understanding of software architecture, systems design, and cloud platform (AWS).
• Experience with DevOps practices: TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies (React, VueJS, Angular) for effective collaboration.
• Skilled in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira or Clickup.
• Proficiency in tools like Slack, Miro, Figma, and Google Workspace to enhance communication and teamwork.

Leadership and Optimization:

• Strong leadership skills to inspire teams and align technical solutions with business goals.
• Ability to analyze metrics and optimize workflows for processes like deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in roadmap planning and improving team productivity through data-driven insights.

Nice to have:

• Experience in legacy system modernization and managing technical debt.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, SQS).
