Pipeline Engineer

As a Frontend Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge web applications. You will translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive, responsive, and visually stunning interfaces. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your front-end expertise while also contributing to the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Support and improve existing pipeline tools and workflows.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across projects.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with the Head of CG, supervisors, team leads, and artists to assess and refine pipeline requirements, goals, and challenges.

Must Haves:

• Relevant experience in VFX, game development, or a similar field.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with asset production workflows and pipelines (VFX or game development).
• Ability to work in a mixed Windows/Linux environment.
• Proficiency in at least one DCC API: Maya, Houdini, Nuke, or Blender.
• Basic, working knowledge of at least one 3D DCC (preferably Blender or Houdini).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Git.

Nice to have:

• Experience with USD.
• Experience with ShotGrid/Flow API.
• Comfortable working with non-technical users.
• Experience with render farm software and its API.
• Experience with Flask, Django, or similar technologies.
