(Senior) Product Engineer

As a Product Engineer, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. With a unique blend of analytical skills and software engineering expertise, you will take ownership of shaping product functionality end-to-end - from understanding stakeholder requirements to designing and implementing technical solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, architects, and internal customers, ensuring that business goals translate into elegant, maintainable, and scalable software.

What You Will Do

-       Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine business requirements, transforming them into clear specifications, user stories, and solution designs.

-       Design and implement application components using Java/Spring Boot or Angular, contributing hands-on to the product’s technical realization.

-       Act as the functional and technical bridge between business and engineering, supporting architectural discussions and validating solution feasibility.

-       Create prototypes, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment between customer expectations, product vision, and technical outcomes.

-       Support continuous improvement by fostering modern engineering practices, enhancing documentation quality, and contributing to a shared understanding of product functionality and architecture.

What You Bring

-       Solid experience in requirements engineering or business analysis, including stakeholder management, process modeling, and translating needs into technical concepts.

-       Hands-on software development experience with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Angular, with the ability to implement features, prototypes, and technical validations.

-       Strong understanding of application architectures, API design, and cloud environments (Azure preferred), with the ability to assess technical feasibility and propose solution options.

-       Autonomous, analytical, and structured work approach with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and functional domains.

-       Experience with agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development workflows; English fluency required, German skills are a plus.
