Our client is a prominent global container terminal operator, with operations spanning across continents. As a key player in international logistics, the company places strong emphasis on cybersecurity to ensure seamless and secure supply chain operations. We are currently looking to strengthen their cybersecurity team with a new regional coordinator for the Europe and Americas regions.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of modern cybersecurity solutions tailored to container terminal operations.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate cybersecurity requirements into daily activities and new initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with international, regional, and local cybersecurity standards and legislation.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and address potential threats.
- Prepare regular cybersecurity reports and briefings for senior management.
- Deliver awareness and training programs to promote cybersecurity culture across the organization.
- Build and maintain relationships with external cybersecurity vendors and partners.
- Coordinate security operations across sites in Europe and the Americas, in alignment with global security strategy.
- Contribute to incident response processes, including investigation, containment, and recovery.
Employer Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 2 years in a coordination or similar role.
- Strong familiarity with recognized cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Solid experience in risk management, incident response, and vulnerability handling.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural and geographically distributed team.
- Industry experience in logistics, maritime operations, or terminal management is a strong advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are considered a plus.
- Very good command of English, enabling fluent communication in an international professional environment.
