The Product Area and The Team
As a Software Engineer, you will become part of the Transactions product area within SimCorp's Product Division, responsible for delivering functionality that enables clients to make investment decisions with our back-office applications.
The Transactions product area is one of the core areas in SimCorp Dimension® and it is an excellent opportunity to grow into both business side of financial instruments as well as software engineering in a highly skilled, highly diverse, at the same time highly helpful and supportive work environment.
Currently it consists of three teams, each with five to seven software engineers across several geographical locations, and you will join one of the teams .

Private Debt is booming in the market and we see a high demand from our existing and potential clients. Consequently, SimCorp has decided to implement an efficient and attractive solution to support this new part of illiquid investments as well.
To make this exciting project a reality, we are growing within the Transactions product area and building a new team whose primary focus will be Private Debt. We are seeking curious, courageous, and capable professionals who are ready to create innovative, efficient, and attractive offerings.

As part of our scrum team, you will play a crucial role in delivering solutions for Private Debt and Transactions while working closely with Product Owners and engaging directly with clients. You will work with a codebase primarily based on APL and C# with the potential of extending our tech stack to new programming languages in the future, in a culture that values trust and teamwork.
