WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
At SimCorp, we support some of the biggest financial institutions in the world to manage their investments, accounting, and operations more effectively by simplifying them. We are looking for a Lead Software Tester with demonstrated leadership skills to join our Testing Services team and help drive testing delivery across multiple client engagements. This role combines practical testing, project leadership, and direct client collaboration.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into effective test scenarios
Executing and documenting test cases as part of in-depth functional testing
Collaborating closely with functional teams, delivery teams, and client stakeholders
Managing incidents, monitoring their progress, and providing clear reporting
Leading meetings with clients and internal stakeholders
Managing the backlog, prioritizing tasks, and planning team activities
Identifying risks, dependencies, and impediments, and taking corrective actions
Owning the Annual Delivery Plan (ADP) for assigned Testing Services projects
Planning, forecasting, and maintaining ADP in line with client priorities and team capacity
Monitoring delivery progress and reporting status to leadership and client representatives
Acting as a subject matter specialist on Testing Services processes and best practices
Managing leadership responsibilities with testing and supporting the team during critical delivery phases
TECHNOLOGIES & TOOLS
Tools: Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Code
Languages: C# (OOP), PowerShell (scripting)
WHAT WE VALUE
4+ years of experience in software testing
Experience leading processes and acting as a testing lead within a team
Ability to combine leadership responsibilities with practical testing
Familiarity with ISTQB principles
Extensive experience working in Agile environments
Fluent English (minimum B2)
Knowledge of financial instruments
Experience working directly with clients
Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to lead teams, manage expectations, and drive delivery predictability
