WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
We’re looking for a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the evolution of our cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on architecting and managing scalable, secure, and reliable platforms using Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and a modern DevOps toolkit.
As a DevOps lead, you will be responsible for adopting DevOps best practices, and leading automation efforts. You’ll play a key role in the stability, performance, and velocity of our software delivery pipeline.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Lead DevOps Initiatives: Own and evolve DevOps strategy across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, security, and observability.
Azure Infrastructure Management: Design, provision, build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using best practices in Azure.
Leadership: Mentor engineers, review code/config, drive cross-functional collaboration, and champion DevOps culture.
Monitoring & Reliability: Implement monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or third-party tools. Drive SRE principles.
Pipeline Development: Design, build, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for microservices, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
Security & Governance: Enforce security controls (e.g., RBAC, secrets management, network policies) across environments.
WHAT WE VALUE
Deep knowledge on the landscape of market data vendors and trends in these markets.
Experience in building modern data piplelines in support of investment risk platforms and/or analytics.
Significant market data experience across multiple asset classes.
Good knowledge of multi-factor, multi-asset class risk models and their application.
Good knowledge of investment risk analytics and their application.
Experience in negotiating with market data vendors and contract management is beneficial.
Agile-certified product manager or product owner certification is beneficial
Knowledge of Python, SQL and other scripting languages is beneficial
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as you must communicate regularly with stakeholders, product owners, and different departments within the organization
