About the Role
As a Project Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects while building lasting client relationships and fostering a collaborative and productive environment for your team. This is a multi-faceted role that combines project management, customer relationship management, and people leadership.
Your mission will be to deliver exceptional project outcomes while ensuring the satisfaction and growth of your team members, working collaboratively with stakeholders, and driving innovation and efficiency in project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Project Management
- Facilitate, track, and execute actions required for successful project delivery.
- Define project scope, timelines, and budgets together with the Client’s Product Owner
- Effectively manage required team structure and additional resources.
- Manage scope changes and gather requirements while balancing priorities.
- Track progress, milestone deliverables, and ensure project objectives are met.
- Proactively identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Leverage risk management strategies to mitigate project challenges.
2.Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact, while organizing and leading steering group meetings to align on expectations and progress.
- Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for project continuation or expansion.
- Collaborate with teams to estimate new project scopes and prepare input for project extensions and Statements of Work (SoWs).
- Serve as a technical bridge to resolve client concerns and align on solutions.
3.Line Management
- Lead and support project team members, serving as their first point of contact.
- Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins to address team satisfaction, feedback, and career growth while collaborating with technical Guild Leaders, Administration, and HR to address team needs.
- Develop and nurture a high-performing, motivated, and engaged project team.
Qualifications & Experience:
1.Must-Have:
-
5+ years of experience in IT project leadership roles, with hands-on experience with agile frameworks.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects successfully.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a “can-do” attitude.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken).
- Ability to lead and inspire teams, including senior members.
- Ability to manage and independently prioritize various projects and contexts simultaneously.
- Ability to travel occasionally to perform project meetings and workshops.
2.Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with tools and methods for running Client workshops.
- Experience in Data and AI-oriented projects.
- Knowledge of scaled agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe).
- Occasionally time flexibility might be required for projects from the USA to overlap with Eastern or Pacific Time Zones.
