Tech Lead with Drupal (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with strong expertise in Drupal to drive the technical vision of modern eCommerce solutions for a fleet management project.
In this role, you will shape the system architecture, lead and mentor development teams, and ensure high-quality delivery within cloud-based environment. The team will be responsible for designing and developing a new Website Factory platform, as well as supporting migration and system integration initiatives. A key part of the role will involve migrating the backend from WordPress to Drupal. This position combines hands-on technical leadership with close collaboration with both business and IT stakeholders.
Your tasks
Driving the technical roadmap and architecture for Drupal-based solutions
Leading and mentoring development teams while supporting day-to-day technical decisions
Designing and evolving headless and decoupled CMS architectures
Ensuring code quality, best practices, and high development standards
Overseeing CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release processes
Ensuring security, compliance, and performance across platforms
Optimizing accessibility (WCAG), and SEO compliance
Collaborating with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
Supporting continuous improvement of system scalability and availability
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer in Drupal-based projects
Strong expertise in Drupal (multisite, multilingual, headless, custom modules)
Solid knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js)
Hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API-based integrations
Knowledge of WordPress
Experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
Strong communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Fluent English, both spoken and written
Willingness to commute to the office in Warsaw 2-3 days a week
Fluent Polish required
Residing in Poland required
