Tech Lead with Drupal (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead with strong expertise in Drupal to drive the technical vision of modern eCommerce solutions for a fleet management project.

In this role, you will shape the system architecture, lead and mentor development teams, and ensure high-quality delivery within cloud-based environment. The team will be responsible for designing and developing a new Website Factory platform, as well as supporting migration and system integration initiatives. A key part of the role will involve migrating the backend from WordPress to Drupal. This position combines hands-on technical leadership with close collaboration with both business and IT stakeholders.

Your tasks

• Driving the technical roadmap and architecture for Drupal-based solutions

• Leading and mentoring development teams while supporting day-to-day technical decisions

• Designing and evolving headless and decoupled CMS architectures

• Ensuring code quality, best practices, and high development standards

• Overseeing CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and release processes

• Ensuring security, compliance, and performance across platforms

• Optimizing accessibility (WCAG), and SEO compliance

• Collaborating with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions

• Supporting continuous improvement of system scalability and availability

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Developer in Drupal-based projects

• Strong expertise in Drupal (multisite, multilingual, headless, custom modules)

• Solid knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js)

• Hands-on experience with PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API-based integrations

• Knowledge of WordPress

• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices

• Strong communication skills and experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Fluent English, both spoken and written

• Willingness to commute to the office in Warsaw 2-3 days a week

• Fluent Polish required

• Residing in Poland required
