Senior Data Scientist

Play a key role in designing and implementing advanced machine learning solutions for scalable, production-grade systems. You will support our client from the biopharmaceutical industry and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data-driven solutions that align with business objectives.

This hybrid role requires working from the client’s office in Warsaw at least 1–2 days per week.

Your tasks

• Designing, developing and implementing machine learning algorithms and statistical models to address complex business challenges

• Conducting experimentation, iterative testing and evaluation to optimize model performance, accuracy, and scalability

• Extracting actionable insights through advanced analytics to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategy

• Collaborating with Data Engineers and Software Engineers to integrate, deploy, and monitor ML solutions in production environments

• Mentoring junior team members, conducting peer reviews, and promoting best practices in data science

• Supporting AWS Cloud engineering activities

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modelling

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or related quantitative field

• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn

• Strong experience with AWS-based ML development

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools

• Solid knowledge of SQL and data preprocessing techniques

• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders

• Fluent Polish required

• Residing in Poland required

Nice-to-have requirements

• Experience with pharma industry data platforms (Veeva, IQVIA)

• Expertise in deploying and managing NLP and LLM models

• Knowledge of transformer architectures, prompt engineering, and generative AI applications
