Senior Data Engineer – medical industry (f/m/x)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a high-impact project for a client in the medical sector.

The team is building a modern, cloud-based data platform. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data solutions that transform raw data into structured, high-quality datasets supporting analytical and business needs. You will work in a distributed environment, collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient data products.

This is a hybrid position requiring at least two days per week in the office.

Your tasks

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines that ingest and process data from multiple source systems

• Build and maintain data layers that enable further analytics and reporting

• Develop and optimize cloud-based data services and distributed processing workflows

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Contribute to platform architecture and ensure alignment with the overall data strategy

• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, preferably in cloud environments

• Strong expertise in AWS services, Amazon Redshift, cloud-based data platforms, and related services

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, as well as experience with data processing tools

• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and working with various data formats

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, DevOps approach, and infrastructure-as-code tools

• Very good communication skills in English and Polish, both written and spoken
