Frontend Application Architect (f/m/x)

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect with a strong frontend background to define and lead the architectural direction of our web platforms. This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist who combines deep development expertise with the ability to make strategic architectural decisions.

As a Technical Leader, you will shape frontend initiatives across multiple web projects, working closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions.

We will only consider people living in Warsaw and the immediate surrounding area, ready for hybrid work with 2-3 office visits per week.

Your tasks

• Define, design, and evolve the frontend architecture for Angular-based web applications

• Set and guide the frontend technical strategy across multiple projects and teams

• Contribute hands-on to development work (approx. 50% of the time), particularly in architecture-critical areas

• Ensure smooth integration with backend systems, APIs, and microfrontend architectures

• Establish and promote best practices, standards, and patterns for frontend development

• Review code and architectural decisions to maintain consistency and technical excellence

• Mentor and support development teams, acting as a technical authority and advisor

• Collaborate with backend architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in frontend development, including some expertise in designing architecture

• Strong, hands-on experience with Angular

• Basic working knowledge of PHP

• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Drupal or Magento

• Understanding of microfrontend architectures and frontend–backend integration patterns

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical direction

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Polish

• Residing in Poland required

• Willingness to work hybrid with 2-3 visits to the office in Warsaw per week

Nice-to-have requirements

• Experience with additional frontend frameworks such as React or Vue

• Exposure to containerization, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines

• Previous experience working in enterprise-scale or cross-functional architecture environments
