Embedded Crank GUI Software Engineer (f/m/x)

Join Sii and play a key role in delivering embedded GUI solutions for home appliance products. As an Embedded GUI Software Engineer, you will develop, maintain, and test Linux-based touchscreen interfaces for a high-end line of ovens. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support high-quality, secure, and reliable GUI software throughout the product lifecycle.

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain embedded Linux-based GUI applications

• Implement touchscreen user interfaces using Crank Storyboard and related frameworks

• Perform debugging, integration, and system testing on target devices

• Support basic test automation and ensure software quality

• Create and maintain technical documentation in English

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Embedded Development

• Strong experience in embedded Crank GUI development

• Hands-on knowledge of Crank Storyboard and C/C++ programming

• Experience with touchscreen TFT displays and GUI testing

• Familiarity with unit, integration, and system testing practices

• Security awareness, including secure coding and open-source compliance

• Good command of the English language
