Data Warehouse Architect (f/m/x)

We are looking for an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design and evolution of modern analytical platforms for one of the biggest insurance companies in Poland. This role focuses on building scalable, real-time data solutions while aligning architecture across multiple domains and ensuring consistency with enterprise standards.

Your tasks

• Design modern analytics architectures, including real-time data processing systems, in collaboration with domain, business, and solution architects

• Define architectural patterns that support implementation based on the latest technologies, including AI/ML

• Ensure architectural consistency and synergy across delivered solutions

• Evaluate available technologies and recommend optimal solutions across on-premise and cloud environments

• Participate in the assessment and adoption of emerging technologies

• Provide internal technology consulting across development initiatives and projects

Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven experience in designing and developing analytical system architectures, including AI/ML-based solutions

• Strong ability to establish architectural standards and mentor Data Warehouse / BI / ML teams

• Hands-on expertise in designing cloud-native and hybrid architectures

• Solid understanding of modern data paradigms such as Lakehouse and Data Mesh

• Knowledge of data modeling techniques and data flow design

• Experience designing solutions compliant with regulatory and security requirements, e.g., GDPR, Data Governance

• Working knowledge of SAS 9.4 and/or SAS Viya platforms

• Experience with data platforms such as Oracle (Exadata is a plus) or modern cloud-based data platforms

• Fluent Polish required

• Residing in Poland required

Nice-to-have requirements

• Understanding of DataOps and/or MLOps practices

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and technologies

• Knowledge of GenAI / LLM solutions and their integration with data platforms
