Data Platform Engineer (f/m/x)

Join Sii and play a key role in delivering enterprise-class data platforms to international clients. As a Data Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud-based data platforms on AWS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support strategic data and analytics initiatives across the organization.

Your tasks

• Build and maintain a data platform using AWS services, Terraform, Kubernetes and Databricks

• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines

• Support data mesh and medallion architecture on Databricks

• Ensure platform scalability, security, and observability

• Collaborate with agile teams to deliver platform capabilities

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Data Platform Engineer or similar role

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services

• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments

• Good programming skills in Python

• Good command of English, both written and spoken

• Willingness to visit the Wrocław office once a month

Nice-to-have requirements

• Knowledge of Data Mesh concepts and implementation
