Business - Data Analyst

A newly established global function in the retail sector is seeking a Business/Data Analyst to help drive the transformation and digitization of merchandising operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a pioneering team at the foundation of a strategic initiative that is redefining how products are selected, presented, and sold across a global network of fuel stations.

Your responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret data from multiple retail and operational systems

• Contribute to the development of the target platform’s data model

• Map data sources and define ETL processes

• Collaborate with stakeholders across merchandising, operations, and IT

• Translate business needs into detailed functional features

• Assist with solution configuration to support real-world retail operations

Our requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in the IT area

• Strong background in business and data analysis

• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a U.S.-based analyst offering deep domain expertise and onboarding support

• Comfort in navigating ambiguity and shaping systems from the ground up

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels

• Very good English and Polish skills

• Openness for flexible hours, including occasional evening calls/meetings

• Residing in Poland required
