Senior Software Engineer

This is a specialist C# role for a software engineer with a background in hardware, science, or R&D (e.g., instruments, sensors, control systems). We unfortunately cannot consider candidates from a purely finance, banking, or e-commerce background for this position.

What you’ll be doing as the Senior Software Engineer

As the Senior Software Engineer, you’ll join a friendly, multi‑disciplined team. You’ll design and implement user‑facing application software architecture, coordinate the application development lifecycle from conception to release, and support the applications, engineering, operations, sales, and support teams with the development and maintenance of existing software products.

What you will need to apply for the Senior Software Engineer position

• A background in engineering, hardware, science, or R&D. We are looking for candidates who have written software for tangible products like hardware, instruments, sensors, or control systems; not just banking or finance apps.

• Experience developing end-to-end application software using C#.

• User interface design experience.

• Excellent communication skills, with experience liaising with a range of stakeholders.

• Desirable - WinForms experience
