In the role of Golang Developer YOU will use your skills to design and implement the business logic layer between our IoT platform and customer solutions within security, telecom or other domains.
You will become a member of a team consisting of 5 Go Developers that we are building in Sigma and will cooperate with our Norwegian client team on a daily basis. Our client introduces smart home security solutions within the IoT platform built for flexible and scalable solutions. It supports multiple communication standards and hardware vendors.
What you will be doing:
- Provide architecture ideas and solutions;
- Deliver new microservices in cloud environment with security in mind (if you don't know it we will learn you!)
- Deliver embedded Golang apps with care about memory and other resources;
- Transfer data between services using gRPC, REST and message bus;
- Deploy apps using Kubernetes, be responsible for it;
- From time to time modify existing Python code (if you don't know it we will learn you!)
You might be the perfect candidate if you are:
- Software developer with at least 2 years experience in OOP who wants to work with GoLang
- Team player eager to share knowledge and learn new things.
Moreover, we appreciate skills or experience in the following areas:
- GoLang Experience
- Redis;
- Cassandra;
- Docker;
- Event sourcing;
- Google Cloud Services;
- Payment Integration;
- IoT.
