Test Specialist

For our Partner – for a long-term project for an EU Organization based in Warsaw – we are looking for a Test Specialist (Advanced).

About the Project:

You will join a long-term IT programme supporting the development and maintenance of information systems for a major EU institution.

As a Test Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and readiness of applications developed within this multi‑year initiative.

Your responsibilities will include test design and execution, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), maintaining regression tests, and cooperating closely with both business and technical teams in an international environment.

What You Will Do:

• Analyse requirements and determine the test scope.

• Design and maintain test cases.

• Execute manual and exploratory tests.

• Prepare test data and maintain regression test suites.

• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Document all test activities following internal standards.

• Collaborate with analysts, developers, architects, business users, and support teams.

• Maintain automated regression tests (where applicable).

Requirements:

• Higher education degree in ICT (mandatory).

• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar testing role.

• English at B2 level.

• Hands-on experience testing complex systems.

• Strong practical knowledge of software testing tools.

• Expert-level test design skills.

• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, ability to learn quickly.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans.

• Hands-on coding skills in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript or VBS.

• Test automation experience using Playwright or equivalent framework.

• Ability to create SQL queries.

• Experience testing SharePoint-based applications.

• The candidate must be an EU citizen and must be working from Poland.

Required Certificates(minimum one)

• ISTQB Advanced or An equivalent internationally recognized certification

• or 3+ years of experience in test design beyond the required minimum
