Test Expert (m/f/n)

We are looking for a Test Expert (m/f/n)  to join our client's team, carrying out a project for one of the EU institutions in Warsaw.

Requirements:

• Expert in testing, including unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, performance and stress testing, acceptance testing, and regression testing

• Expert in designing test environments

• Hands-on experience in testing complex systems (5 years)

• ICT degree (Bachelor's or Engineer's)

• Experience in setting up test management tool for a new project.

• Experience in providing test documentation.

• Experience in leading testing in a complex project

• Practical knowledge of testing tools.

• An analytical mind, attention to detail, and an ability to pick things up quickly

• Presents excellent communication and documentation skills

• Knowledge of processes in the Software Development Lifecycle.

• At least 1 certification among: ISTQB Advanced or an equivalent certification recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority), or 3 additional years of experience in test management above the required experience at a similar position

• Experience with testing using Azure DevOps Test Plans

• Hands-on experience with creating SQL queries

• Hands-on experience with testing the ServiceNow platform or hands-on experience with testing applications related to border protection, surveillance or national security

Tasks:

• Responsible for testing strategy and planning test activities

• Develops test plan, test cases, and designs testing environment

• Implements, executes, and debugs application test cases and scripts

• Validate and document completion of testing and Development

• Interprets test results, reports on test progress, and issues

• Analyses functional and technical system design for testability

• Contributes to quality assurance in the project

• Documents tests and tracks defects

• Monitors test results,

• Analyses quality of the system and reports on the status and trends

• Cooperates with analysis, architects, Software Development, and service desk teams
