Security and System Engineer

We are looking for a Security and System Engineer –EDR/Antimalware to join a major financial institution in Luxembourg, one of the country’s most important and stable banking organizations. The institution operates in a highly regulated environment and manages critical infrastructure for the Luxembourg financial sector.

The role is 100% based in Luxembourg City and requires relocation.

About the Role:

You will work within an advanced infrastructure & security department, handling the administration, optimization, and troubleshooting of Antimalware/EDR platforms in a highly regulated environment. This is a long-term project with a strong impact on the institution’s overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administration & optimization of on-prem EDR/Antimalware platforms

• Acting as a technical reference for security & system teams

• Troubleshooting L3-level issues

• Close collaboration with international vendors

• Supporting daily operations & long-term security projects

• Documentation & knowledge transfer

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years of experience in system engineering or cybersecurity

• Strong expertise in Windows Server (2016–2025)

• Hands-on experience with EDR/Antimalware solutions

• PowerShell, VMware, Linux knowledge

• Experience in the banking/financial sector is highly valued

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Fluent English and French – required, Luxembourgish – strong plus

• Nice to have: networking, DNS, Webproxy, Firewall knowledge

• B2B contract via Shimi, initial 6 months with possible extension up to 4 years

• Rate: 680 EUR/MD
