BI Migration Specialist (f/m/n)

We are looking for an experienced BI Migration Specialist (m/f/n) to join our client’s international engineering team. The company is a global leader in internet performance analytics, widely recognized for the platform used by millions every day to test their connection speed.

The role is part of a large-scale initiative to modernize the Business Intelligence landscape within the debt collection domain. Your main responsibility will be to transition existing dashboards and reports from legacy systems (SAP and Qlik) into a modern, Databricks-based data environment.

This position is hands-on and technical, requiring strong analytical thinking, solid BI development experience, and the ability to convert business needs into reliable reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate existing SAP BO and Qlik Sense dashboards into Databricks-native or modern BI platforms.

• Redesign, streamline, and enhance data models and ETL pipelines for better performance and scalability.

• Analyze current reporting logic (SAP Universes, Crystal Reports, WebI) and translate it into the target solution.

• Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and alignment with the new architecture.

• Work closely with data engineers, business users, and analysts to define reporting and data requirements.

• Produce and maintain documentation related to migration workflows, mappings, and metadata.

• Support improvements in BI standards, documentation practices, and data governance.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense development and migration projects.

• Solid understanding of SAP BO tools (WebI, Crystal Reports, Universes).

• Technical expertise in data modeling, QVDs, SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing/data lakes.

• Practical experience with BI migration, metadata mapping, and reporting logic analysis.

• Excellent English skills (B2+/C1), both written and spoken.

• Strong communication abilities and confidence in working with both business and technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, debt management, or other regulated sectors.

• Familiarity with Databricks, Power BI, or the Azure data ecosystem.

• Experience working in agile and international delivery environments.
