Responsibilities

1. Work as Senior Java Engineer for online card payment system that processes millions of transactions a day for 1000+ merchants in 160 currencies, with 99,995% uptime
2. Work with technologies such as: Java, Kotlin, Spring, Hibernate, SQL, Selenium, Gradle, AWS
3. Building new features and automated tests with the highest attention to code quality and Continuous Delivery rules
4. Finding and improving solutions for both technical and business issues
5. Working with highly skilled specialists with the most efficient technologies and tools

Desired Skills and Experience

1. At least 7 years of hands-on Java development experience - not only coding but also problem solving on medium to high level of autonomy in project
2. High level of expertise in Java and a solid knowledge of the listed technologies/tools
3. Academic degree in IT/programming field
4. Long-term commitment - we build a bold team ready to grow with us, solving problems together and celebrating milestones
5. Proven track record of delivering high-quality code with attention to scalability and reliability.
6. Strong analytical skills and a predisposition for innovative thinking
7. Decision-making approach and a goal-oriented attitude
8. Fluency in Polish and English, with experience working with teams both from Poland and internationally.
9. An openminded and easygoing personality is a must - we like to like each other!

Nice to have:

1. Technologies: Javascript (ES7+), React
2. Experience in Datadog, OpenSearch, Sentry
3. Experience in payments/fintech industry
4. Product-based IT company experience
