QA - Automation Tester

Senovo IT is looking for a highly skilled Automation Tester with a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing of web applications. The ideal candidate brings solid experience from the financial or insurance sectors, coupled with a proven ability to lead QA efforts, enhance testing processes, and collaborate effectively in Agile teams.

This is a hands-on role focused on test planning, execution, automation development, and supporting high-quality product delivery in fast-paced environments.

Location: Fully Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute end-to-end test strategies for mobile and web platforms
• Lead and support small QA teams, mentoring junior testers where needed
• Conduct manual functional testing on Android, iOS, and browser-based applications
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright (Java),
• Perform API and integration testing using Postman, SoapUI, and Swagger
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, define testing scope, and manage defect resolution
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-release production validation
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure test coverage and continuous quality improvement

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on QA experience across manual and automation testing
• Strong knowledge of testing complex systems, particularly API and integration testing
• Practical experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (Java/C#)
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver under pressure
