Data Engineer - Remote contract

Senovo IT is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support a high-impact Tax Transformation initiative. This is a strategic project involving the orchestration of modern data architecture using Databricks and Unity Catalog.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and orchestrate the overall data architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives
2. Understand stakeholder needs from both technical and business perspectives
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions
4. Drive best practices across data pipelines, quality, and security

Key Skills:

1. Strong experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog
2. Ability to orchestrate architecture end-to-end
3. Solid stakeholder management and communication skills
4. Strong understanding of business processes and data needs

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with PySpark, Data Lake architectures
2. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
3. Previous team leadership or mentoring experience
