We are Semantive, a professional services company providing Cloud services. We are an AWS certified team of software engineers focused on Cloud native application development and software engineering. We work in an Agile way and pay a lot of attention to code quality, we do peer code reviews and use pair programming when appropriate. If you join us, you can expect to get proficient with AWS & Python and work in a challenging project delivered for some Fortune 500 companies as well as start-ups.
We are on a mission to build Data platforms in Cloud and Serverless applications that host a lot of data and run various analytical workloads. We are looking for talented DevOps Engineers, who want to embark on this mission with us.
What will you be doing?
- Implement best practices around quality assurance and operations monitoring of software products
- Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues and create tools to diagnose issues
- Fix bugs, deploy hotfix changes to software when needed
- Care of reliability, uptime, capacity, and performance analysis
- Use automation to ensure repeatability and reduce time to action and repair services
Must-have requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a DevOps. Previous experience as a System Administrator OR Python Developer is a plus.
- History worked with Kubernetes, Docker, Bash and Elasticsearch
- Experience with any cloud environment (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- CI/CD (pipeline, configuration)
- IAAC (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of testing methodologies
- Being a team player who is native in Polish and fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Container-based deployment (Docker)
- Linux networking
- Knowledge of Monitoring Systems: Grafana/ELK/Zabbix
- Phoenix Servers, Twelve-Factor App, stateless app, microservices, blue-green deployment, canary release
- Application Deployment (Java or Python)
