IoT applications produce a lot of machine data. Usually in real time, but a lot of the actionable insights are lost as the data is complex, not easily understood and usually happening in real time. This start up business has already built a that enables companies to store the vast data sets produced by IoT ecosystems. They are launching a new product for one of their biggest customers, enabling actionable insights in real time. The system will dramatically improve monitoring and process flow optimization for this customer, who is investing heavily in this product. 

As a Python developer in this team there are a broad range of challenges to work on and you will have the chance to work across the different areas of the product but some of the challenges will involve things like; 

• Working on open source 
• consistent tracking of device statuses in real-time with alerting for any anomalies detected
• Using machine learning to detect anomalies 
• Analysing large data volumes in the cloud 
• Setting up identity and access management systems
• Creating fall overs for loss of connectivity (some of the factories are in remote areas and the connection is sometimes intermittent

Engineers working for this company are all over Europe but there is an agreement that the team will come together when it makes sense to do so in person work usually takes place in Berlin.
