Insights Analyst

The Role & what you'll do

As an Insight Analyst, you will sit within the Analytics function, supporting the Senior Analysts and reporting directly to the Head of Analytics. You will be responsible for producing actionable insights to drive data-led decision making about daily trading, marketing performance, and CRM effectiveness. Your focus will be on delivering timely and accurate reporting, supporting experimentation, and providing analysis that directly influences immediate business outcomes.

Day to day, you will be working on...

• Supporting regular trading decisions by reporting on key business metrics and identifying performance opportunities.

• Performing tactical, deep-dive analysis on user behavior and sales data to understand friction points and trends that impact conversion.

• Creating and maintaining high-quality dashboards in Tableau

• Contributing to the development of self-serve analytical solutions and standardized reporting frameworks to reduce repetitive ad-hoc analysis

• Assisting in the analysis of the end-to-end customer journey and audience segmentation to support customization efforts.

• Executing CRM AB tests, including defining clear success criteria and setting up the tests, owning the reporting, and presenting findings to the CRM team

• Creation and automation of new data sources (customer profiles, flags, segmentations) into our email & push marketing platform

• Identifying opportunities to improve the personalisation and relevancy of our marketing

• Preparing and presenting initial findings and analysis summaries to team stakeholders.

The Data, Data Science & Analytics team at Secret Escapes consists exclusively of Good Eggs. We are a super fun, hard-working, and empowered team doing truly great things, composed of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Digital Analytics Specialists, and Analysts. We deeply care about our members' experience using our product and take care of every trip, but just as importantly, we care about each other. We're based across the UK, Germany & Poland and enjoy flexible working.

Must haves

• Strong SQL skills with experience querying large behavioral data sets.

• Hands-on experience with Tableau or similar dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI).

• Experience supporting or conducting AB tests, including owning reporting and ensuring statistical validity.

• Foundational statistical analysis skills to interpret correlations and basic regression models.

• Experience of supporting analysis projects from data extraction to visualization.

• Ability to present data clearly and translate initial findings into actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience with a product analytics tool or similar to understand user behavior (e.g., Heap, ContentSquare, Google Analytics/GA4).
