Job description
As Senior QA Engineer with Management you will be an integral Quality team member providing leadership relating to Software Quality Assurance supporting the Control and Visualization project.
Tasks:
- This role is provides an opportunity to be involved in a wide range of software quality activities, such as taking care of customer quality to new product development, etc.,
- Building effective work relationships across product management, program management and engineering stakeholders to facilitate commitment to process improvement actions with business benefits,
- Maintaining Customer/Field quality metrics, improvement goals and actions to ensure a continuous field quality improvement infrastructure,
- As a member of QA you’ll contribute to the identification of improvement opportunities through a systematic analysis process to highlight Software Quality Processes,
- Providing support and leadership within key software development programs. Driving quality goals and objectives throughout the development lifecycle. You will provide ongoing visibility of progress to established goals through the collection, organization and analysis of project data,
- Acting as subject matter expert, coach and mentor of QA teams about methodologies, tools, standards and processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Mathematics or other related degree
- Experience in Software Quality Management/Assurance,
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are a must,
- Previous experience in Software Development Environment,
- Skills coupled with software quality and software development background will provide a technical foundation to support this role.
Additionaly would be a plus, if a Candidate knew:
- Lean, Six Sigma, CMMI and/or ISO,
- Quality Engineer certification.
