We are looking for Senior ML Engineer located in our office in Warsaw, Poland.

Location & commitments: 

• full-time job, 
• Warsaw (office at Konstruktorska street),
• hybrid model (2 days per week from the office)
• Hiring Manager – Mikołaj Jarkowski

Your IMPACT: 

• Lead technical efforts, support, and mentor team members,
• Research, design, and test statistical and machine learning models,
• Scale-up, productionize developed models,
• Conduct data discovery, profiling, analyze data lineage and determine schema,
• Identify data and analytical business needs and determine possible solutions
• Tenaciously solve problems and make decisions under uncertainty,
• Actively contribute to scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review and retrospectives.

Your Profile:

• Proven track record of leading data science projects,
• Hands on experience in E2E modeling (data preparation, feature engineering, pipelines, model evaluation & deployment),
• Solid understanding of statistical and ML methods,
• Advanced Python knowledge: Expertise in Python programming, including proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code,
• Extensive MLflow experience: Strong understanding of software engineering principles, such as modular code design, test-driven development, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines,
• Software Engineering skills: Strong understanding of software engineering principles, such as modular code design, test-driven development, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines,
• Experience in developing Scalable Solutions: Proven ability to design and implement scalable, production-ready, and modular solutions that are easily maintainable and extensible,
• Optimization and Performance Tuning skills: Knowledge of optimizing machine learning models and pipelines,
• Developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others,
• Ability to map Business requirements to technical solutions,
• Passionate about learning every day and mentoring,
• Fluent in English.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with time-series analysis and forecasting,
• Experience with Databricks,
• Experience with PySpark.
