Solution Designer

This Solution Designer is responsible for conducting requirements engineering and solution design for the products in our global digital portfolio. This position is located in a cross-functional, international team that applies the latest agile methods.

Responsibilities

• You elicit business requirements and review options with customers, business units, and end users to ensure complete testing with few defects or unexpected problems.

• You support, analyse and evaluate business requirements and user needs

• You design, prepare, and review documentation of requirements and change management with business needs to ensure full understanding and, where needed, acceptance

• You compile and elaborate functional and non-functional requirements 

• You explain any technical issues or open questions to the business customer. 

• You communicate business objectives to technical teams and technical solutions to the business customer. 

• You document and communicate all open issues or open questions about business processes or procedures to the team

Qualifications

• min. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field, or an equivalent education and experience in logistics

• min. 2 years of experience in business process management and/or business process analysis

• min. 2 years of experience with process or workflow modelling tool experience 

• strong business, system and customer service orientation

• good knowledge of formalised methods for specification (e.g. Use Case Modelling, Data Modelling, Interfaces)

• fluency in English, both written and spoken
